We are delighted to announce that faced with rigorous and demanding new style exams in Summer 2018 our students excelled by producing our best ever A Level results with some exceptional individual performances including 5 students who achieved at least 3A*s each and another 30 with an average of 3A grades or higher!
Nearly 40% of all grades achieved at A Level this year were at A*/A, nearly two thirds were at A*-B and approximately 90% were at A*-C. Once again we expect progress made by students at A Level to be in the top 4% in the country.

Almost 75% of Kingsdale graduates have secured places at prestigious Russell Group Universities such as Oxford, Durham, Bristol, Warwick, Glasgow and King’s College London. A further 15% of our students are going to highly esteemed Conservatoires such as the Royal Academy of Music, Trinity College London, the Royal Drawing School or high-status 1994 Group Colleges. Alternative pathways chosen include undertaking exciting gap year programmes arranged through the school!
Evie and Cerys have used their outstanding A Level grades including A*s in Physical Education to secure places at Birmingham and Cardiff to do Sports Science and Physiotherapy respectively!
We are incredibly proud of how students, staff and parents have worked together and supported each other to produce another set of amazing A Level results at Kingsdale whilst navigating the unique challenges presented this year. We would also like to pay tribute to all of our students whose endeavours and hard work have enabled them to pursue their own exciting pathway of choice but could not be mentioned at this time.
