Information on Admission to Year 7 at Kingsdale Foundation School in September 2020
Applicants who wish to find out the position of their child on one of our oversubscription waiting lists can do so by contacting Southwark Local Authority by phone on 0207 525 5337 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
It may also be possible to receive retrospective information, as authorised for release by the LA for a limited number of dates only, from the school via email at email@example.com or by phone on 0208 655 9727. This will be subject to the Local Authority providing the School with the necessary information.
Admission Appeals Process for September 2020
A Parent/Guardian/Carer with Parental Authority who wishes their child to remain or be placed on the appropriate waiting list(s) for September 2020 admission, should contact the School Admissions Officer, Ms Otubu, by phone, post or email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Fast-Track Administrative Check (AA1)
The Fast-Track Administrative Check (AA1) form can be downloaded from our website or obtained directly from the School Admission Officer. The Fast Track Administrative Check procedure is intended to highlight any discrepancies between the School and a Local Authority so that errors can be addressed as soon as possible. This process does not affect a parent's right to an independent appeal under the School Standards & Framework Act 1998.

Please be advised that the School will be hosting an Appeals Information Evening for entry into Year 7 for September 2020 on Wednesday 25th March 2020 at 7pm. The purpose of this evening is to demystify the appeals process, whilst providing helpful information and useful advice to assist parents who may be considering lodging an Appeal under the Schools Standards & Framework Act 1998. The presentation is delivered by an independent appeal clerk service provider.
*A Parent/Guardian/Carer with Parental Authority who wishes to lodge an appeal under this framework must do so by Friday 1st May 2020 by returning the completed Appeal Form (AA2) which will be available from the School or via our website following the Appeals Information Evening on Wednesday 25th March 2020.
A Group Appeal Hearing (Stage 1) will be held on Monday 15th June 2020 for all appellants with Parental Authority who submit an appeal under the Framework by the published deadline.
Individual Appeal Hearings, for appellants with Parental Authority who still wish to proceed with their Appeal (Stage 2), will be held from Tuesday 16th June 2020.
