Anti-Bullying Week

Anti Bullying Week - Monday 14th November - Friday 18th November 2016

Kingsdale is proud to be supporting Anti-bullying week.  Our key messages are that 'Kingsdale is a telling school' and that 'We do not tolerate bullying here!'.

Throughout the week there will be a range of activities taking place during curriculum lessons, tutor time and Year Assemblies.  Below are some web-links resources we will be using with our students to help raise further the issues surrounding bullying and the devastating effect this can have on individuals, the school community and society.

We will also be listening to a series of reflections each day with the theme of anti-bullying.  These will be read out on the tannoy each day by our Anti-bullying Student Ambassadors.

Monday: “I would rather be a little nobody, then to be an evil somebody.”

Abraham Lincoln

Tuesday: “Stop letting people who do so little for you control so much of your mind, feelings and emotions.”

 Will Smith

Wednesday:  "Knowing what's right doesn't mean much unless you do what's right.”

Theodore Roosevelt

Thursday:  “My self-worth is not linked to your cruel words and actions. My self-esteem is not affected by your deliberate attempts to destroy my character. You have no power over me. You will not silence me.”

Marina Cohen

Friday: "Bullying is a horrible thing. It sticks with you forever. It poisons you. But only if you let it."

Heather Brewer
