The Kingsdale Family International Culture Day 2026

Kingsdale Foundation School is delighted to launch this year’s annual cultural festival ‘The Kingsdale Family International Culture Day 2026’. You are cordially invited with your family and friends to colourful and festive event this summer on Sunday, 19th July 2026 from 12noon until 4pm.

The school’s initiative of ‘Kingsdale Family International Culture Day’ is a celebration of the wonderful cultural diversity in the community with a vibrant showcase of art, music, dance, drama, exotic cuisine, crafts, cultural interactive activities and talents from across the world. It sums up the school’s vision of ‘Respect and Inclusivity’ where every child matters and belongs to the community, the diversity in the community is embraced and celebrated in a safe, happy and nurturing space. The initiative not only puts enrichment, cultural capital, Creative and Performing Arts at the heart of our curriculum, it also encourages a sense of leadership and entrepreneurship among students.

In case you (or your family member) are interested in setting up a cultural stall on the day, please contact us via kfscultureday@kingsdale.southwark.sch.uk  All funds that are raised are donated to  Mind – a charity for mental health and wellbeing.

The initiative enthusiastically promotes student voice. Your child can sign-up to join the event as a Student Committee Member to help shape and lead the programme; or they can sign-up to run their own business stall related with the theme or sign-up with music/dance/drama/ any other faculty to take part in various initiatives that are being planned across the school for the day. The event promotes a cohesive community and we would love to see you join this year’s celebration on 19th July 2026. Tickets for the event are free of cost and they will be released shortly.
