Kingsdale Students Jump for Joy Over GCSE Results!

Best GCSE Student in the Country at Kingsdale Foundation School?!

Kingsdale has produced another set of excellent GCSE results with one phenomenal performance as well as many exceptional individual and collective achievements to celebrate this year.  We believe Kingsdale’s Tawan Satitkit-Foster is the highest performing student in the Country who has matched the national record of 13 Grade 9s at GCSE!  This is an open challenge to all schools, academies and colleges. 

It would also be the 5th time a Kingsdale student has set or matched a national GCSE record for achieving top grades!  We also have 4 students who achieved 10 or more Grade 9s. Over 120 students achieved 8 or more 7 – 9 Grades and 6 out of 10 students achieved the English Baccalaureate at the school.

Phenomenal Tawan Satitkit-Foster smashes GCSE record with 13 Grade 9s! What an amazing achievement!

Isla Plucinski-Boyle, Emily Aaban-Voss and Nina Rizzo attained a fantastic 17 Grade 9s, 8 Grade 8s and 3 Grade 7s between them!

Iris Heorton, Esme Fuller and Vida Lukas attained a staggering 15Grade 9s, 8 Grade 8s and 10 Grade 7s between them!

Amazing A Level Examination Results at Kingsdale Foundation School in 2025! 

We are delighted to announce that our students have excelled again with some more exceptional individual and group performances including 13 students who achieved at least 3A* grades each!

Circa 45% of all grades achieved at A Level this year at Kingsdale were at A*/A, numbering over 300, and 4 out of 5 were at A*-B.

Celso Laque and Iris Truscott celebrate their fantastic 4 A* and 4 A grades between them and will study Natural Science at the University of Cambridge and Physics at the University of Manchester respectively.

Celso writes of his experiences:

"Not only have the teachers at Kingsdale supported me through every academic hurdle, but they have been unbelievably kind and helpful in moments of admin provoked panic. I’m excited to be studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge in October!"

 Phoenix Brown-Martin attained an impressive A* grade in Film Studies and 2 A grades in Psychology and Sociology and will study Psychology & Sociology at the University of Glasgow.

Rafy Young, Minnie Buchanan & Hayden Johnson with parents celebrate attaining a tremendous 6 A* and 3 A grades between them! 

Rafy will go on to study Physics at the University of Manchester and writes:

"I’ve had a great time at Kingsdale, lovely teachers and students, I’ll be sad to leave after an exciting 7 years. I’m looking forward to studying Physics next year at university."

Minnie Buchannan will study Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Manchester and writes:

"My seven years at Kingsdale have been amazing. So grateful for all my teachers for always supporting me through the challenges of A Levels and helping me achieve."  

Cece Anthony-Tewkesbury achieved a really impressive A* grade in Mathematics and 2 A grades in Fine Art and Physics and will study Design at the University of Cambridge.

60% of our graduate applications to higher education institutions have been accepted at prestigious Russell Group Universities, namely Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, King’s College London, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, Southampton, University College London, Warwick and York as well as 11 securing places at Oxford & Cambridge or to study medicine. 

Students have also secured places at many other top universities including Bath, Lancaster, Loughborough, Reading, SOAS, Sussex and UEA to do well-regarded, competitive and demanding courses such as Architecture, Chemical Engineering, Finance, Linguistics, Social Anthropology, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Politics and International Relations and Psychology . 

Our gifted and talented creative and performing artists will be attending highly esteemed conservatoires and institutions such as the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as well as the University of the Arts London, Kingston, Goldsmiths and Surrey (Tonmeister degree) Universities.  

Arlo Phillips, Bess Walsh and Rosa Brealey achieved a wonderful 7 A* and 4 A grades between them will be going to University of Durham to study Chemistry, the University of Leeds to study Classics and Manchester to study politics and International Relations respectively.

Arlo writes:

"Kingsdale has provided me with a great working environment throughout my A Levels.  The staff and the teachers really helped to push me to hit the grades I wanted even under immense pressure, with really high teaching quality and available support. I can’t wait to start Durham University in October!"

Thomas Roberts achieved a phenomenal 4 A* grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science and an A* grade in the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). He will be studying Industrial Chemistry at the University of Durham.  Thomas writes:

"I’ve had an amazing experience doing A levels at Kingsdale. I’d like to give a special thanks to all my teachers, Including Mr Turner who supported me through taking computer science a year early, when teacher shortages meant the normal class had to be cancelled. I’d also like to thank our amazing exams officer, Mrs Klingler. The past two years have gone by so quickly, but I’m looking forward to studying Computer Engineering at university in September."

Sumaiyah Ahmady and Sofia Baron who achieved an impressive 2 A* and 2 A grades between them and will study Medicine at UCL and Graphic Design at the University of the Arts, London.

Samuel Lee, Celso Laque, Cece Anthony - Tewkesbury, Rebecca Cooke, Deborah Boateng, Grace O'Connor, Lily Ong, Millie Worrall celebrate attaining 23 A* and  A grades between them!

We are incredibly proud of how students, staff and parents have collaborated and supported each other to produce another set of amazing A Level results.  We pay tribute to all of our students those endeavours, resilience and hard work have enabled them to pursue their chosen exciting pathway of choice.

Thomas Barr and his parents celebrate his incredible achievement of 3 A* grades in Biology, Physics and Maths. Thomas will now go on to study Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Nottingham.

Deborah Boateng and Rebecca Cooke celebrate their very impressive grades.  Deborah achieved A*AB and will attend the University of Warwick to study Politics and International Studies.  Rebecca secured A*AA grades and will now study Politics and International Relations at Manchester University. 

Deborah writes:

"I am ecstatic about my results and really excited for the next steps at Warwick. I had a really tough year but the 6th form team were an amazing support, a huge thank you for all their help!" 

Marla Maccallum-Hall achieved an amazing 3 A* grades and will go on to study Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.

James Gough, Youcef Moussaoui and Zak Zidate attained a highly commendable 5 A*, 2 As and 2 Bs between them and will now progress to the University of Cambridge to study Economics, the University of Bristol to study Computer Science and UCL to study Chemical Engineering.

Ollie Buck and Ejim Akuma achieved a very pleasing 1 A*, 4 As and 1 B grade between them!

Lily Ong achieved an impressive A*AA and will now go on to study Psychology at the University of Leeds

Isaac Mathers and his mum celebrate his marvellous 2 A* and 1 A grade. Isaac will go on to the University of Surrey to study Music and Sound Recording

Samuel Allott, Dora Treverton and Oliver MacDonald celebrate achieving a commendable 1 A*, 4As and 3 Bs between them.
